Greg Trende's Bio:
I am a ornamental fish veterinarian in my 3rd year with Spectrum Brands GloFish and 5D Tropical, Inc. in Florida. I graduate in 2022 from UF CVM and received the aquatic animal medicine certificate, through which I took Dr. Ruth Francis-Floyd fish disease course, externed with Dr. Shane Boylan at the South Carolina Aquarium, and externed under Dr. Roy Yanong at the UF Tropical Aquaculture Lab. My position has me overseeing 4 different ornamental fish farms as their primary veterinarian, including pond-raised and imported fish with extreme species and disease variation. I also have a private contract overseeing a saltwater lagoon housing fish and stingrays. I have been a member of AAFV for several years, I have spoken at the last 2 AAFV meetings, and I have attended the last 3 Eastern Fish Health Meetings. I regularly have Dr. Roy Yanong’s externs shadow me for at least a day to learn ornamental aquaculture in real-life scenarios.

Jessica Richardson's Bio:
Hi! I'm a 2015 UC Davis graduate, I've been an AAFV member since I was a vet student and had about 5 years' experience as a relief veterinarian using QuickBooks and online banking. Between undergrad and relief, I've worked in pathology and microbiology labs, small animal general practice, and picked up as much Fish CE as I could find. I've been a passionate fish hobbyist for most of my life and finally transitioned into an industry role working with fish for a large pet company. I'm excited for the opportunity to be more involved in AAFV!
