Fintastic Photo Hunt for ICEBREAKER

Rules: This interactive game is a great way to meet all the fun fish folks attending the conference and build new relationships. Pick 10 of the following photo hunt tasks and grab that pic. The first three people to get all 7 of the pics, verify them with the event coordinators and upload them to the share drive will win a fishy themed prize.

Grand Prize: Fish scale puzzle. Second Prize: Fishhead Labs Shirt. Third Prize: Fish art print

 

  • Get 5 people together and do your best fish impression
  • Find someone with a fun fish or invertebrate tattoo/tattoos
  • Introduce yourself to someone from another state or from across the country. Take a picture of your badges to prove it!
  • Meet a fish vet and ask what they do
  • Match your fishy sticker (teleost, elasmobranch, invertebrate) with a friend
  • Take a pic with someone wearing aquatic themed jewelry
  • Make one of those special fish pathologists feel super awkward and take a pic with them!
  • Get 5 people together and take a fun photo with the AAFV welcome sign
  • Find someone that is wearing at least two fish themed pieces of clothing/shoes/hat
  • Find a person with a fish sticker on their drink 😉
  • Take a pic with someone you have only met through email
  • Which one of these doesn’t belong? Find a veterinarian or student with a…marine mammal sticker…ewwww!
